Which Internet browser program do you recommend?

We recommend using Mozilla Firefox to view our training. It is a free download available at http://www.mozilla.com


How do I contact support if I have problems with accessing the training.

How long is my purchase of a training license allow me access to the training program?

You may access the training program for 1 year after purchase. We find that many customers will return to the training after completing the course in order to refresh themselves on a particular subject.


What languages are available for the training?

English - All programs.

Korean - The programs have Korean audio dubbing and English on the screens. Assessments are in the Korean language. Please note that the Korean language versions do not cover MARPOL Annexes II and III at this time.

Portuguese - We offer the MMS Crew and Officer Tracks with both audio and screens in Portuguese.


When I view the MARPOL and Waste Management training programs, I cannot resize the screen.

Yes, this is the way we have setup the system. We use a Flash system to present the program which does not permit resizing the screen. However, you may change your display settings to change the picture size.


May I run the training programs on my PDA?

No. The programs have not been designed for use on a PDA.


How long are the trainings?

The training programs vary by course and the track selected within each course. For the EPA VGP training there are three tracks. The crew track takes about an hour and the either the engine officer or deck officer track 1 1/2 hours.

The Meeting MARPOL Standards course can vary from 2 hours for the crew track to 14 hours for the Master or Superintendent of tankers and chemical carriers. The Engineer track is 4 hours in length.

Waste Management Best Practices has only one track which takes about 2 1/2 hours.

The Small Vessel General Permit course (SVGP) is about 1 hour long and has only one track.

When you exit any of the programs your place is book marked so you can return to the point of leaving the next time you log in.
