How do I monitor online training for users?
How to monitor the Online training records 1. When license keys are issued to a company’s designated system administrator or record keeper those instructions may be sent to their selected users of the online training to access the system. This system administrator or record keeper will be able to monitor all persons using a particular license key they have been associated with. If you are an individual you can go to the Account page and log in at (https://marine-npdes.com/accounts/login/) to see the status of your training programs. Please refer to step 2. below. 2. Start by clicking on https://marine-npdes.com/ and selecting “Accessing your account page”. 3. Login in with your logon and password. Depending upon your computer settings, your system may remember this information the next time you access your account page. 4. A list will appear showing who has started/completed the training and the ability to export the record to Excel or to re-print their certificate. Depending upon your computer screen graphic settings, when selecting to print a certificate, you may need to scroll down to see the print button. Questions? Contact support@marpol.us

How long is my purchase of a training license allow me access to the training program?
You may access the training program for 1 year after purchase. We find that many customers will return to the training after completing the course in order to refresh themselves on a particular subject.
Logon and Password Requirements
Your logon name must be unique to you and not used by another user. The minimum number of characters is 6. A company ID#, cell phone # or similar typically will be unique. Logon names are not case sensitive. Passwords are case sensitive and must be at least 6 characters. Please do not use any special characters in your password.
What languages are available for the training?
All programs are provided in English on the screen and spoken in the audio track.
When I view the training programs, how do I resize the window?
Beginning 1 Jan 2021 our training programs will run under HTML5 code. If you are using Chrome, then hold down the Control (Ctrl) key then hit either + or - to change the window size. If you are using Edge, then click the Restore window size button in the top right. The hover your curser to the side of the window, click the left button to resize the window.
May I run the training programs on my PDA?
No. The programs have not been designed for use on a PDA.
How long are the trainings?
The training programs vary by course and the track selected within each course.
For the EPA VGP training there are three tracks. The crew track takes about an hour and the either the engine officer or deck officer track 1 1/2 hours.
The Meeting MARPOL Standards course can vary from 2 hours for the crew track to 12 hours for the Master or Superintendent of tankers and chemical carriers. The Engineer track is 4 hours in length.
Waste Management Best Practices has only one track which takes about 2 1/2 hours.
When you exit any of the programs your place is book marked so you can return to the point of leaving the next time you log in.
